1. Legitimate Interest (Article 6(1)(f)): It is in our legitimate commercial interest—and your direct financial interest—to identify, trace, and inform you of unclaimed funds that you are legally entitled to recover.

2. Contractual Obligation: Once you instruct us to recover the funds, processing is necessary to execute our service agreement.

3. Legal Obligation: To comply with UK tax (HMRC) and anti-money laundering reporting laws.

We use this data to verify your identity as the legitimate creditor and connect you with the relevant Insolvency Practitioner or Trustee to process your payout.

5. No Retention of Client Funds

For the avoidance of doubt, we do not operate client money accounts, nor do we act as financial custodians. All recovered asset payouts are transferred directly from the appointed Insolvency Practitioner or Trustee to your designated bank account. Our service fee is invoiced separately after you successfully receive your funds.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosures

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your contact details strictly with:

• The appointed Insolvency Practitioner, Liquidator, or Trustee managing the case, solely to process your claim.

• Regulators or legal authorities if required by UK law.

7. Data Retention

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for. If you enter into a contract with us, we retain your data for 6 years after the contract ends to comply with UK statutory limitation periods and HMRC tax record requirements. If no contract is signed, your data is erased upon request or after our tracing process concludes.
